I just joined the BMWMOA (http://bmwmoa.org/). They have an 800 number that you can call when a group gets separated.

Back in the old days, before bike-to-bike radios and cell phones, my wife had a deal worked out where the "lost" person would go back to the nearest town and hang out by the "Entering nowhere-ville City Limits" sign. If the other person was not there they'd leave a note tacked to the sign post stating which fast-food place that they were hanging out at.

That is so true as I also had that happen to me on the recent spring ride in Tecate Mexico.

I just crused the town's main drag untill one of the other riders came back to find me.....
