"Frank likes to Ride" Action Photos

This guy has some very nice stuff.

Fwiw, he's shooting a Canon D5 Mark II while riding. It's a DSLR and quite heavy too (I think 3 pounds) and probably in the $3,000+ range with lens.

He shoots on the fly left-handed with it and has it in a special tank bag where he can access it quickly.

The saying "you get what you pay for" is so true....$2,500.00 takes some awsome pics...just the lens (not included) for that puppy is probly $1000,00

Holy smokes! To hold $4,000 by 3-4 fingers is a bit much for my blood!

Notice his eyes are on the road and he's holding the camera by the pentaprism top. That model of Canon does not have a pop-up flash which may make it more secure in holding it from the there compared to ones that have that pop-up flash there. He says he can remove his glove while riding, grab the camera, shoot, and go back into the glove. Hell, I cannot even get my glove on or off while riding.

Note, no tether or strap seen here where he's preparing to shoot rearward:

Love this shot of his:

I was looking at the B&H Photo site and some of the Nikon's that Frank is now looking at are $7,500 just for the body. They even had some 56 Megapixel Mamiya camera for $32,490 ea. Here. Wow!

Ugh!
