October 4th/5th Max BMW Event in Catskills

Anyone thinking of taking a ride out to this event? I've been poking around for some camping options in the area and there are many. Anyone from the NY area have any recommendations of with campgrounds or routes in the area?

Thanks,
TD

The BMW MOA website has a lot of info - Colors in the Catskills. To be held at Hunter Mountain Ski resort. Lodging available on sight - condo's, etc (last I knew available). Event held at the same time as the resort's Octoberfest. Should be a lot of fun.

Check out North Lake State campground in Haines Falls http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/24487.html
There are lots of nice roads here. Here is a day long route that will loop you back to Hunter. You can cut it short in a few places if you like.

Hope the link works.
