Bloomberg PA

Too Hot. Couldn't stay. Saw a "taxi" K12RS with a sidecar. Most interesting and beautiful.

Too Hot is an understatement... I went up Thursday, left this morning. I spent a lot of time in my air conditioned dorm room at the University.. I was able to take about an hour or two at a time of walking around the fair grounds before melting.. Even the evenings were hot.. Shame, lots of people, lots of cool stuff to look at or buy, and some really nice roads, but just to f'king hot for this 53 year old. Oh BTW got a chance to actually sit on a K1600GT.. it will be my next bike.. drool drool..

I arrived Wednesday afternoon and stayed until Friday and bugged out early as well. There is some great riding around PA and it was too hot to gear up for that let alone sit in the shade of a canopy and stay hydrated. I think my GT was miffed to go all the way down there just to sit there. If I had stayed any longer I would have gone broke visiting the vendors in the air conditioned building. I was happy I did not pre-register for the ARC!

Dorms & hotels had pools, might be the way to go in the future - I had a good time with my son. His first National & he plans on returning
