The BEST Gear Shop Experience Ever

give these folks a try... Helmet Outlet USA... heres why...

my wenches hjc symax busted the flip up hinge leaving it flapping in the wind... luckily i had a screw and enough washers to fashion a temporary hinge for the ride home...

i scored this symax in january... she didnt even wear it until april... so it busted with less then 20 rides on it... i called the place where i got it and was put on hold for a very long time... so i hung up and emailed them... got a response the next day directing me to call them... i called them again and was on hold again for a very long time again... so i hung up again...

killing time im browsing this guide to northern idaho magazine and see an ad for a motorcycle gear shop... we found ourselves in the area and stopped in to see if they had repair parts... the young man looked at the busted helmet... walked over to the shelf... pulled a brand new on off the shelf... gave it to us at no charge... he kept the busted one for an in warranty exchange...

i was completely amazed that we were treated like this... out of towners... who may never return... getting a helmet swap from someone we never met... we scoped out their stock... they have lots of stuff and the prices were about the same as else where...

these folks got my internet business form now on...

this was the BEST gear shop experience ever...

you gotta eat...

Great story, it reminds of when we used to snowmobile. on our side of the border all the snowmobile places were really boutiques to buy accessories, but if you broke down far far from home in the middle of a trip it would still take 3 days to fit you into service...
Cross the border into Canada and it was different. MAYBE they had 2 pairs of gloves/helmet your size... but we had a broken spring on one of 7 sleds one time and after exhausting all the Skidoo dealers for 50 miles around the dealer called HIS OWN CUSTOMER whose sled was waiting on another part and asked if we could have the spring of theirs and he would order another one...
We were back on the trail in less than 3hrs including all the calls...

Sorry to get off track, but I will give them a try. I appreciate businesses that treat people well.
