Did you ride to work (or anywhere else) today?

I did. Very humid and muggy at 5:30 this morning. Rain and lightning this afternoon on the way home. Not my ideal of a perfect riding day, but better than being in the car.

Don't feel all alone...rain this morning (drizzle, mostly) but clear skies this afternoon.

I road to work today, but work is only 5 miles away. So I road my commute scoot('98 Yamaha 125 Riva), saves the '02 RS from sitting in the sun all day, and for the real rides.

Riding Today

Had to ride today, because I did not ride yesterday.More bonding is necessary after a day off. Rode to the shop (SDBMW) to find out if and how BMW is going to solve my idle creep, clutch judder and backfiring problems. It seems they have a positive plan of attack at the next (15K) service, so went up into the Laguna Mountains for a go at the twisties. It was a brilliant day (as usual) in San Diego and I enjoyed every moment. That is, except for the Miata that spun out and into the trees in front of me. Fellow had the seat belt buckled and the air bags deployed. Car destroyed, but everything else okay.
You know, as long as you keep the revs above 7K you never notice the high idle problem.
Ride safe and smooth.
