Just get a Scorpio two-way alarm and forget the BMW one.

I left all my gear (Zumo and radar detector, jacket, and helmet) on the bike and went shopping. If anyone gets near it (I set it for about 6 feet) I'm alerted and the bike slowly goes into a vile hissy fit if they persist hanging around. Also good for alerting you to a knock-over.

Lo-Jack would be next bet.

Mine too.

The whites of her eyes used to turn purple and veins would bulge out and pupils would constrict smaller than a gnat and they would dart left and right really fast. I felt like a cat clawing out of a wet shower trying to escape her wrath at times. Pretty damn scary! A sheriff had her committed once for her tantrums (her brother called the cops when she freaked around him). Too bad the psychiatrist called in sick while when was detained for that day in the nut house ward of the hospital. They released her. Lucky me.

Hey, maybe they could both fight to the finish?

They steal cars equiped with sattelite tracking systems here. So if your car or bike is ordered - it will be stolen. To put the bike in a van takes 30 sec. The alarm system helped me once - I parked the bike on newly laid asphalt in a hot weather and did just maybe 20 steps away when heard the syrene - looked at the bike and saw it's strange position - the lean angle was greater than few moments before. The side stand was half in the asphalt - so I rescued my bike and avoided expensive damage.

Take care!
