Reverse phone lookup now with maps!

This may be old news to some...

Go to google.

Type in your phone number.

If it's listed, up comes your name, address, and a nice map to your house.

Is that bullshit or what?

It has been that way for a few years. You can opt out right on that page. Of course, your address and phone number are all part of the public record for people who know how to look. You should also know that if someone has your address they can get a satellite view of your house on Google Earth.....no place to hide.

Well, not exactly. My brothers phone number and address in Houston come up, but it points to the wrong house - it points to a house 2 doors down.

Nope, my phone is unlisted, and my address comes up several hundred feet down the street.

So, your phone is unlisted. Besides not being listed in the local directory, what does that mean? Ever write it down anywhere, like for vehicle registration, bank account, car or motorcycle loan, obtain driver's license or passport, voter registration, on your tax return? And that address problem will get solved over time by Google!! Must make it hard to find you way home with your GPS after all that wine.

Cool

Bill, I almost never give my phone number to any official organization. And Ihave plugged into my GPS's the exact coordinates so I can get home on a dark and gloomy night.

Oh, I know my phone number is available if someone is really willing to try hard and even pay some service to get it. I have registered my 2nd phone and cell phone with not my real name. I have become a bug for privacy, since I have had some unauthorized financial debits to some of my accounts in the past...

I am thinking of joining the witness protection program to really get away....
