seals

The fork seals, if they are going to leak, will leak on the right side in this country. How about where they ride on the wrong side of the road??? Does the left one leak first? I think this has been covered here before, not sure. I have never known a left seal to leak in the land of Oz, and if I recall, in the US it is the reverse.

Don't recall the forks leaking here at all. You might check with the folks in the U.K., just to be sure it's not due to the location relative to the equator.

My right fork seals blew in the middle of a 90 MPH sweeper/on ramp, it took some fine dancin' on the white line to get things back in order

that was at about 98k miles on the 02 K1200 LTC. no problems with my 06 KS yet, on the seals at least.

not sure why the country would matter, maybe its that equator thing mentioned

seal

I thought it may be relative to the camber on the road, here the right seal would take more punishment perhaps.

(as the walrus said "nothing like a tight seal)

Wink Could be worse.

hey Pap.

Eskimo was driving his skiddoo near Inuvik when it quits working. He limps it into the shop and off he goes to town.Couple hours later he comes back to the garage. The mechanic says'"You blew a seal".

Eskimo wipes off his chin and says,"No,I didn't.It's ice cream".
