Interesting, but I wonder what the cost of the cup would be, compared to run of the mill use anything you want mug.

Also, I think the purpose is to keep people at the bar LONGER, and less drunk, so that they feel like they need to drink more. More time for the alch to metabolize. ie, the less someone drinks per hr, the longer they'll be able to stay there drinking.

Primarily for stadiums, which uses disposable glasses. 10 cents per glass vs. 45 cents per glass. Thing is, though, that magnetic button can display a logo (advertising) which reduces the cost somewhat. And that little magnet is good for refrigerators at home, too.
