Don't forget to watch the practice session-always get good info there. Can't wait. Hoping to attend US GP in Nov, if those bastards start releasing lodging reservations. No way I'm paying $400+ per nite when the week b4 it cost $185!

I feel it's gonna be a barn burner of a season. Lot's of hungry drivers and no quarter shall be given. Let the racing BEGIN!!!

Can I start the talk???

I believe Webber was given inferior equipment or developmental parts compared to Vettel last season. It was CLEAR who was the number one driver. Partly to NOT repeat Red Bull's first winning season two years ago where the two were fighting it out and almost lost it to Alonso.

I believe Vettel and Newey had some sort of first lap trick or tricks that gave Vettel a distinct advantage on that opening lap and the first 5 or so laps. He was just too fast.

I see Vettel and Rosberg eventually pairing up at Mercedes making the German powerhouse complete.

I knew Schumacher hadn't had the car to compete yet. I can't believe the progress they made over the summer. Yes, I'm rooting for Schumacher to podium and win this year.

I do think it is a shame that they hamstring clearly the best team (Red Bull) with new rules every year. However, I thank them for making the racing more interesting. No more blown diffusers and no more trick ecu programming for throttle control.

My favorite, Alonso and Ferrari might be in SERIOUS trouble. Who do you think will take Massa's seat?

Button and Hamilton make for the MOST interesting in team battle. Both are great drivers that excel at completely different situations. Button is hard to beat in the perfect car. Hamilton impossible to beat in a subpar car or subpar driving conditions.

I can't wait!

race

Meanwhile!!! Back in Oz. They are arguing as to whether we should finance this race. Some say that it puts Melbourne on the international sports map and the spin off means big bucks. Like who watches our international horse races and football. Even though they are screened world wide.Others argue that the noise and the cost can not be justified. In this city we cater for every type of sporting event, and you can walk from one to the other. But Eccelstone , or whatever his name is , is getting a lot of flack. A lot of people want to be rid of this event. I think that it is probably worth the expense, and there is a spin off that is worthwhile. We have a huge sports package here and the race is part of it. As for me, not into crowds, the lonely deserted hills beckon and the K and I are one on the twisties.
