Hello there ! shoot me a mail with a list of parts you are looking to
purchase if you are still in the market. Whats your phone # and where

Hello Patrick

Thanks for writing. Yes I still have a brand new complete 2005 BMW
K1200RS/GT body set in pristine shape and condition just as shown in
the photo attached. I'm asking $500 USD and I will be shipping via UPS
or FedEx on a 3 - 4 working days delivery and will accept payment via
Money Gram as my PayPal is currently dormant. What's your complete
shipping address?

Many thanks again and regards,

Paul

Scammer attaches photo from beemerboneyard SOLD list http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-151022...8_2238_20776503 . I recognize photo as I've looking for these parts for a while.

My Reply patrick2000

Paul,

I fear the shipping costs from the UK will be astronomical. I'm at 4609 W. Foothill Dr Eugene Oregon 97405.

Paul,

The parts are in the UK, but the pictures you you sent were taken in the USA? They are copied from here http://www.beemerboneyard.com/46637673941cs.html and are marked SOLD for $750. Are you selling for a supplier here? My address is above.

does he have a phone number or address for you to call?

we have some UK members here that might be familiar with an area.

However, usually if it sounds too good to be true I'd pass.

Alternatively, maybe you could call beemerboneyard and tell them the situation and are they aware where the parts went to.

He's in Milton Keynes, UK. See, if he has any Red Bull F1 car parts available.

A quick google search turned up a paul newman construction at 134 Dunthorne Way, Milton Keynes MK8 0LW, United Kingdom. Not 34 Dunthome.

Too much of a coincidence probably done to make it sound legitimate. No way I'd do it.

Edit- i see that by your title, you aren't buying any of this. Missed that. Doh!

The guy finally went away today. The last email to him went like this. Copy and pasted from the K1200LT webfriends :

Paul--Great News! My wife just reminded me that her brother who is a detective with Scotland Yard lives very near to you in Newport Pagnell UK. He has agreed to go ahead and advance me the money so you can pick up the payment in cash directly from him as soon as tomorrow once I have the shipping information so I know how much more to ask him for to cover S&H. If this is acceptable, please let me know and I will put the two of you in contact. I really need to get moving on installation of those parts,so let me know promptly.
