I'm thinking of getting my bike painted. What type of painter should I look for?

I have been considering a custom paint job on my GT now for a few months, but I'm not sure what type of paint shop to seek out. Would a auto body shop do, or should I look for a custom cycle shop? Also, what type of cost have any of you encountered? Anyone's experiences are appreciated.

Best BMW painter alive

Kent Holt =www.holtbmw.com = Athens Ohio where he and I were in the art skool department together as lads. His mechanic Bill still has the same R90S I used to race with my 1973 Norton Interstate Combat Commando=wasn't even it their catolog. PS I always won, pissed Bill off. Any way he is known for being able to reproduce the BMW Daytona either orange or silver grey Daytona paint job for the old R90S series. Either one might look good on the new GT, hummmmm really might ,you can ship plastic panels anywhere. Tell him I sent you. He's the best. http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/schemepages/schemer90s.htm
