Soliciting funds for the..

Save The World from Asteroids Foundation

Yep, that's right Ladies and Gentleman. I need all the money I can get to build a 871 kiloton nuclear rocket bomb to blow any 3 mile wide asteroids from the sky before it impacts Earth! That's right, within the next 30 years there is a 1 in 5500 probability (REAL STATISTICS!) that a large asteroid will impact the earth making the recent Tsunami and hurricane Katrina look like a firecracker compared! That's right a piece of rock from the sky that is a little over 300 yards wide would wipe out New York City and all the surrounding metropolitan areas with a direct impact!! (ALSO TRUE STATISTICS!) Hell, 65 million years ago one hit the earth completely wiping out every dinosaur that ever existed!.. so why not pay now and pray later and just send your frick'n money, will you?!!

Here is the financial breakdown:

9 bazillion dollars for the rocket bomb itself

1 bazillion dollars to move the massive thing anywhere on the plant with a 24 hours notice to get the right trajectory

.25 bazillion for the calculating guidance system

And .03 bazillion for the people who think this sh!t up..and their drugs, of course!!

So, why don't you send in your contributions directly to:

Save The World from Asteroids Foundation
401 Mentally Deranged Dr.
Lake Greedy, Atlantis $$$$$

Will you donate today????!!!!!

Meteors are scarrrry..

Bear,

You should create a paypal account, and put your address on it. I bet you make enough to pay for a new K1200GT. There are enough people out there that believe enough to send you the money.

OK then, Holloween is over. So here is one.. more apt for the time.

By the way, there is a Foundation started called something similar to what I posted and ARE trying to get funds. Would you believe that they have 2 real astronauts who they have supporting this?! I read it in the paper just the other day. I'll try and find it to post. But believe me, it sounded as ridiculous as my post!

Unfortunately, given that we spend about .0001 bazillion dollars on watching the skies for these asteroids, the chances of detecting this 1 in 5500 asteroid killer will probably be too late to do anything within a 24 hour period. Hence, pray to God it hits the Middle East. Then we won't have to worry about all the fears and doomsdayers stating armageddon is coming. From what I recall from Revelations, armageddon will occur somewhere in the promised land (which is the Middle East according to all those crazed religious zealots) and with a killer asteroid impact the area would no longer exist - yet another problem solved by pure dumb luck!

Humm, I wonder if that's not where "little" was derived?
