Christumas cake

I was watching the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission) and this guy was doing some great bush tucker (food) cooking. I checked their recipe site and found this

Drunken Christamas cake

This tongue in cheek recipe is just what you need to get you in the mood for a happy Christmas.
This recipe is by Karen Emmott and is definitely not from 'Country Cooking' LSODE P&C.

Degree of difficulty: Low

Preparation Time: As long as it takes

You need:
1 cup dried fruit
1 cup butter
1 tsp soda
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup nuts
3 juiced lemons
1 cup nuts
1-2 bottles of rum

Method:
Step 1: Sample of rum to check the quality
Step 2: Take a large bowl, check rum again
Step 3: Repeat
Step 4: Turn on mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl
Step 5: Add one teaspoon of thugar and beat again
Step 6: Meanwhile make sure rum is still alrighty. Try another cup, open second bottle if necessary!
Step 7: Break two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in a cup with some dried fruit in it
Step 8: Mix on turner
Step 9: If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaters pry it loose with a drewscriver
Step 10: Sample the rum for tonistancy
Step 11: Next sift two cups of salt, or something, it dozent metter ish all good
Step 12: Check the rums, now crush the lemon juice and strain your nuts
Step 13: Add one table
Step 14: Greash the oven and burp in the fridge
Step 15: Turn the cake tin 350 degrees, get up off floor
Step 16: Don't forget to beat off the turner
Step 17: Check the rum again, put the bowl on your head and do a little dance around the kishen
Step 18: Become cranky with the silly bowl and throw it out the kishen window
Step 19: Check the rum again and go to bed
Step 20: Get up in the morning, take two asprin, go to the shops and BUY a Christmas cake

Serving Suggestion: Serve with a sense of humour, and have a great Christamas.
