Texans

A couple of Texans are out in the woods hunting when one of them suddenly grabs his chest and falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other Texan whips out his cell phone and calls 911 He gasps to the operator, "I think Bubba is dead! What should I do?" The operator, in a calm soothing voice says, "Just take it easy and follow my instructions. First, let's make sure he's 'dead'."

There is a silence..........then a shot is heard.
The Texan's voice comes back on the line, "Okay, now what?"

*************************

Two men were driving through Texas when they got pulled over by a State Trooper. The cop walked up and tapped on the window with his nightstick. The driver rolled down the window and WHACK, the cop smacked him in the head with his nightstick. "What was that for?" the driver asked. "You're in Texas, son," the trooper answered. "When we pull you over in Texas, you better have your license ready by the time we get to your car."
"I'm sorry, officer," the driver said, "I'm not from around here." The trooper runs a check on the guy's license--he's clean and gives the guy his license back. The trooper then walks around to the passenger side and taps on the window. The passenger rolls down the window and "WHACK", the trooper smacks him on the head with the nightstick. "What'd you do that for?" the passenger demands. "Just making your wish come true," replied the trooper.
"Making WHAT wish come true?" the passenger asked. "Because I know your type," the trooper says, "two miles down the road you're gonna turn to your buddy and say, 'I wish that asshole would've tried that with me!'

Thanks James. I still have a good/bad memory of that encounter. I hope that my schedule will allow another return trip in 06. New roads, away from Leakey, would also be welcome. See you in the spring.

Too late. The Posse did that last year. But, ugh, ask Jeff if it's a good idea to go and play there THE DAY AFTER.

Here's my thinking for THCR...

Wed: Arrive
Thu: Go play on the 3s (337,336,335, etc.)
Fri: Go play on the 3s early (outta there by noon and play someplace else)
Sat: STAY AWAY FROM THE 3s (lest Officer Sanchez makes you his bitch)
Sun: Ride Home

NOTE TO SELF: When 3 Ducatis pass you at triple digits and you are following a line of 30+ Harleys, go the speed limit, even though the Harleys are doing 10 over when they pass Officer Sanchez.

Oh, and one other note. When playing around Hunt, watch out for the Volunteer Fire Chief.
