It's a mockup used in a recent movie. Stealth, I think it was.

Question

Yeah, and what's with the left wing. Even if it slid back and started to swing out, where are the ailerons on it?

No current bike.

That would make sense, especially since I hadn't seen the movie.

It's a rental

Wait for the movie to come out on DVD, don't waste $7.00 to see it at a theatre, it's definitely a rental only.

Keep a high visual horizon,
Bob

Plane.....

It is definately something from a movie......as I have all newer "Popular Science", and "Popular Mechanics" magazine(s) , and they are up on this stuff, and have never seen this photo/plane in any of thier publications. It is not a "Raptor" , I know that.

Phony Stealth

Phony Carrier Deck as well. This one was set up right near the old Marine Land in Palos Verdes CA. They set up about a fifth of the flightdeck on the cliffs overlooking the Ocean. Gives a pretty realistic impression of a real carrier without a lot of costs. They sure could have spent more on the plane mockup tho. This one looks like something my kids could slap together.
