My 1991 K100rs has died, it has 94K and no compression on the front cylinder. Would it be better to sell it as is or part it out? It has new tires 2K ago, new steering head bearings, powder coated wheels, new hoses, gas and water, rebuilt water/oil pump.

This is usually caused by a burnt exhaust valve. Valves for these bikes are outrageously expensive at $138.00, but I would say that your bike is worth saving.
Burnt exhaust valves on these bikes is caused by excessive oil consumption, which is curable.
Anyone know if 1996 K1100 engine will fit and can I use my old motronic unit on it?
The cylinder head shows the same P/N

Yes the 1100 engine will fit and work with your motronic unit.
A friend of mine put an 1100 engine in this 85 K100.
