Thumbs up Peaking Leaves on the BRPW

Last years colors were horrid.. all browns.. This year is simply spectacular!! This week will be the last of the best colors so if anyone is thinking about seeling them.. this be the time. Lots of leaves coming down.. The first rain will remove the rest of them..

Honestly.. I have found myself riding the actual speed limit on the BRPW.. 45mph as the beauty is so overwhelming.. Like a good movie I don't want to miss a single scene.

This year will go down in my personal history as one of the prettiest on record...

PS.. I'm starting to enjoy the new bike...

I went for a bicycle ride today - covered 3 states!

Actually less than 20 miles but hit GA/NC/TN.

It's almost 80 today - and it's November!

And the colors are spectacular. People were theorizing the colors might be dull due to the lack of rain - in fact, I don't recall the colors ever being quite this vivid.

Will try to snap some photos before all the leaves are gone.

If you're gonna change ...

Yep, pretty as a picture. And the trees are nice as well. Hwy 9?

We almost got a great pic of the yellow trees on the Parkway just north of US 70. I should have stopped.

Jerry,

How's the traffic on the Parkway been, as many leaf peepers this year?
I'm riding up early Friday morning to visit with DYL Jim for one last blast before the winter. Rendezvousing at Eddie's for lunch is the plan (hope Eddie doesn't mind) if I can get up there fast enough from Tampa. Thought I might make the jaunt to the parkway before heading south on monday if time permits.
Have a great vacation.
Greg

Mind? Moi?

Let me know what time.

I do have a little plane trip scheduled from Sat mid-day to Sun afternoon - Friday's free all day, as is Sun afternoon and beyond.
