Cool Return to Kings Canyon National Park, in pictures...

There's something about this ride that really speaks to me. Kings Canyon is east of Fresno, California for those that aren't familiar with it. I've been up there 3 or 4 times this summer and every time I find something new to look at or photograph. This is probably the last time this year I will do this ride so here are some of my favorite shots from today for your viewing pleasure...

Hwy 180 in the Park. With school back in session there were even fewer cars than usual today.

same pic with a bit of zoom...

Just look at those moutain chains...

And through the canyon. Portrait or landscape, you choose...

Near Roads' End...

Yosemite eat your heart out...

And a shot of the GT to wrap things up...

Awe!some! You're a lucky man to be able to enjoy such splendor.

2007 K1200R Sport w/ Leo Vince EvoII titanium slip-on. They say that moving sucks. I rather like it, when it's on my bike.

Don't wait too long to go...Tioga and Sonora passes are both closed, due to snow.

Looks like the summer riding season is over.

Kings and Sequoia Parks

I love that ride! Even though it dead ends. PM me if your a local (Fresno). Myself and a K1200S buddy do bi-monthly rides into the So. Sierras and Cen Cal Coast hills. Another great ride is Hwy 190 out past P-Ville up to Quaking Aspen and around back down through Cal Hot Sprngs.
