Four Season Ride in CA

Hey all,

here are some pics of a ride me and a K1200S buddy did last Fri/Sat/Sun.

Day 1 (Cloudy, 50mph winds,Snow,Rain)-Left from Hanford,CA down 43 to 46 to 99 to 178 up and past Lake Isabella to 14/395 then north to Susanville, CA.

Day 2 (Sunny and cool)- Left Susanville west on 36 to 44 to Old Station (great pics of Shasta and Lassen) then to Redding, CA and continued west on 299 along the Trinity River to Arcata, CA to 101 north to Brookings, OR.

Day 3 (Sunny and Warm)- Left Brookings south 101 all the way down thru SF and San Jose to West 152 into Hollister, CA then 25 south to 198 and east thru Coalinga and to Hanford.

1686 miles.

Nice! A couple friends and I were at Lake Topaz and Bridgeport on Saturday... missed you by a day. Love riding around here, although the good passes are almost closed... caught some slush on Monitor pass a couple weeks ago.

Gotta watch the LEO's around Susanville, they are thick. Hopefully you got to ride the roads around Quincy, LaPorte, and Downieville while you were out this way.

Sierra Cement: Good for skis, bad for knees.

Thanks to Bel Labs the LEOs were no issue. Interesting, Lassen Co had nothing on the North Coast and 101!
