I am Nuts........
Went on a pavement burner today....small mountains near Albany, N.Y. (Helderbergs). Put on about 80 miles, 32-38 degrees, grips on and seat for first time ever. Came around corner and a f------ BLIZZARD !. Sky turned grey, then spurts of blue here and there. Neck getting frostbite. Bike just a rockin'. On road I know well, doing about 90-100 and coming to a small rise, I let out of it. 1/2 mile f------ HAIL the size of PEAS. Bouncing off of pavement, what a blast. Went to my favorite watering hole to see this barmaid who is a stunner, but new hours for winter, don't open til 4, S - - - . Light it up, next stop Bar "2".
Went up some back roads, come upon another BLIZZARD. Maybe use my head and go home? NOT. Had a couple, some lunch, looked outside snowing again. Time to go, came out, warmed her up, brushed the snow off my seat, 15 miles home, made it in ten (minutes). Couple people asked me if I took my "meds" today. I love my bike.
