Border to Border and 50cc Trip Reports

For historical reasons, I posted my trip reports and pre-trip planning queries in the Southern California forum. For those who may be interested, here are the two trip reports I posted there:

Iron Butt Association Border to Border
-- Mexico to Canada in under 36 hours, from July 2009:

Iron Butt Association 50cc
-- Coast to Coast in under 50 hours, from April 2010:

Both were ridden on a 2007 BMW K1200GT

You're my hero! I have the same bike you do, an '07 GT, and I love the multi-day trips, but I have to have plenty of butt rests and lots of sleep. I keep thinking about an aftermarket seat, but the cost keeps putting me off.
