Just got back this afternoon. As usual, this is a great gathering of friends. James Myrick puts on a great show. The riding was wonderful, the people were great (as were the usual suspects), and a THCR first -- NO SPEEDING TICKETS. And no accidents either.

Some of the gang are still down there enjoying an extra day in the Hill Country. I am sure pictures will follow.

Ron Johnson gets some extra kudos for keeping the beer flowing all weekend!

Hell yea I'm back... Where the hell were you, Tim?? Geezz.. Nursing home holding you back these days?

Was one fine rally, old feller.. One of the best I have ever attended. I didnít even get lost this year thanks to the well drawn maps furnished by the James Gang.. !!! Everything went off without a hitch as best as I could tell..There were a couple of zero mph drops, but that's expected. I think we had the best weather weíve ever had... and a full moon! Sweet.

Had so much fun on the new S. Finally got to let her run a bit. Donít have many places around here that I can cruise at 90-100 for 5-10 minutes at a time... Very refreshing, albeit a tad illegal. Officer Sanchez was a no-show.. the pussy. No tickets were acrued by any attendee that I know of... Woohoo!!

Finally got to see the Alamo (and hang out on the Riverwalk) with Sir Pete Lewis and Steve Sheehan. Ate one of the best burgers Iíd ever seen at some riverfront restaurant.. The scantily clad, wood-giving locals were just icing on THAT cake.

Was again great to see everyone. Hope I can make it next year...

Nursing home ???

NURSING HOME ????? :wtf

We prefer the term "Home for the Criminally Insane" thanks very much.

Speaking of which, me and several of the guys are planning a weekend raid into
"hill" country, North Carolina this coming.

My guide dog from Detroit arrives tomorrow night and we leave first thing Thursday AM.

OK guys, you've managed to make me homesick. I grew up around those parts (San Marcos to be precise), but haven't ridden those roads in over 20 years - and haven't lived anywhere near them for 25.

I'd love to go next year - not sure carting my K12S from Spain is gonna be practical for a week of riding though - is there any hope of renting a decent beemer in San Antonio, Houston or Austin?

Pack the walker and come on down, Mr S... PM me if you need EXACT directions and/or GPS co-ordinates.. I'll have Amber make lunch.. with instructions to make something easy to chew. I'll be around Sat and Sunday for sure.. Weather looks iffy..

DebS.. Characters!!?? Hey!! I resemble that remark!

Hope you are healing well... Geezz.. Payback for that one must be well thought out and savored!! I'd hate to have THAT hanging over my head.. ;-) Good seeing you... and I guess Dean, too.

See you at next years rally.
