Front Tyre had tread when I started.......

My shoulders are sore after riding 5 hours on roads like this....
.....managed over 100 pics though.

When I got home, it looked like this

after a sunset like this

On a bike like this......
......in fact it was this bike

On a day where the clouds were man made

and these went on

and on

and on

and on

and on

and on

and on

and on

and on

and now my tyres looks like this.

Nice pics, except for that one at 37000 feet of all the Kiwis migrating to Oz.

There were some

Not really any need, virtually no traffic. On a 120km (75mi) section saw less than 20 cars and 4 of those were parked up.

My son spent 6 months in NZ and said it was fantastic. I will visit NZ in the next couple of years... but unfortunately "she who must be obeyed" no longer likes pillion so it will have to be a four (or more) wheeled tour.

I can only say that your story board has strengthened my resolve to hire a bike for a couple of days when I am in NZ.

Excellent photos.
