Speedy seaside weekend

Decided to go to the Black Sea shore on Monday. My riding buddy's GS1200 is at the dealer with back wheel play at only 15,000km. He decided to come with me with his car. Headed to the most southern point of the sea shore, 1km from the border with Bulgaria. Landscape is nice there, no amenities. We went fast, even 250km/h on the freeway, there was some more reserve but not much. Bike behaved very well at any speed, nice and smooth, some vibes ataround 7000. Consumption shown on the computer was 6.2l/100km but calculating it was more close of 7. Had rain on the way back, fortunatelly only few km before getting home, temperature dropped from 28C to 13C. Yes, beautiful photos. Thank you. You must be quite a big man to make that bike look small in the third picture.

I'm considering flying into Slovenia this August, rent a BMW from Slovenia Motortours and then meeting up with my wife and daughter in Croatia.

Have you done this ride? or have any feel for this outfit? A few years ago I rented in Munich and hit the Alps! What a great place to ride!

Super pix and thanks for sharing!

no because it's difficult reaching from bucharest, the capital, where i live. visa is required. some people i know done that by car though, on longer route through hungary-austria. landscape is great, what they particulary mentioned is that prices in croatia are as high or higher than in germany or italy. all the republics of former yugoslavia are very beautiful, there is a guy on a local forum that made them all with a ktm, pictures looks absolutelly stunning, can send the link if interested.
