Pirate, were you on the Parkway Sunday 10/15?

I passed a K1200S going the opposite direction just north of Hendersonville about 3:30. It was all white with white wheels and yours is the only one I know of. Was up there with my father-in-law for too short of a ride. Just wondering if that was you.

Yep, that was you. I recognize the helmet. As far as the speeding goes I wasn't paying attention. I was too pissed off at the asswipe driving the Ford Ranger with plate BARR 1 that could not seem to get that thing up to 30 MPH. How about pulling over at one of the lookouts dumbass!

And I agree, your bike looks great!

Yes.. the seasonal BRPW "grey-haired leave lookers" are out in full force on weekends.. They drive at 24-30mph and sometime actually STOP in the road no matter how many people are stuck behind them so they can take a picture.. oblivious to anything past their back chrome bumper.. When I do eventually get by them I turn around, look them squarely in the eyes and thow up BOTH my hands as if to say.. "You selfish bastages.. If you see a line of cars behind you..that's a sign that you should pull the fuck over on any of the 3000 overlooks that line the road. Don't make me get off this bike and beat the wrinkles off you"

It's not so bad having to pass a car or two when they are spread out but passing a dozen+ cars that are all piled up behind them is a challenge... I think for the next few weeks I'm only going up on week days... It is pretty up there.. Rain today..

Next time you see me.. stop me.. or wave me down..

I'll do that. I'd love to take a close up look at your bike and get some expert "local" advice on roads to ride. I did have a blast on 80 South from the Parkway.
