Riding Video - Milford Road - New Zealand

Just completed a 3 day ride around the Catlins highway, and across to the Milford Road.
These are two of the more notible rides in this part of the word.

This clip is of the Milford road, Cleddau Valley. from the exit of the Homer Tunnel.

The switchbacks are just visible in the shade. It's hard to concentrate on the road
the scenery is just stunning.

Nice video - I have a question your video is as good as I have seen in regard to not seeing the windshield. Is the winshield brand new or do you have the camera setup a certain way?

Thumbs up

Very Cool, I did get a little nervous with that 1st car coming at you on the right side of the road, till I realized you ride on the left.
Looks to me that the windshield was removed.

That road looks EXACTLY the way I remember it from my only trip there 23 years. Was always sorry I had to experience it by bus, rather than bike. Will keep my fingers crossed that it will stay the same until I actually do get there again.

Thanks for sharing -- it brings back great memories of a sweet Sheila I met in Queenstown!
