German route tips

I'm off in July to the Sachsenring for the German MotoGP round. It's a 5 man touring team, mounted on a mix of bikes (Aprilia Tuono, Aprilia Mille Factory, GSXR750, Triumph Speed Four, and my newly acquired K1200R) We are turning it into a 6 day tour, probably stopping off at the Nurburgring on the way home for a few laps. We are all 'ring virgins, so any tips on that bit would be good as well.

Can anybody recommend any roads to visit on the way through Germany to make the ride interesting? We will be taking 2 days for the run from London to the Sachsenring, and also will have a spare day on the day before the GP. Distance is not a real concern, as when away on our yearly trip, we normally ride 500 miles a day.

Any help and advice would be appreciated
