Little riding, a little flying..All in a days work

Trying to save gas these days and having kept the twin in the hangar lately, I decided to fly sans engine(s). Then took a ride up along NY RT 46 into Peekamoose State Park.

Look Out!

Flyboy, That 2-33 must have been modified into a biplane with lots of draggy struts and bracing wires. You're descending at 1,000 FPM and the airspeed is still only 57 MPH! I won't mention the ball's 'skiddy' position. (HaHaHaHaHa!)

Had you invited me along I wouldn't have written this. Gliding is great fun ain't it?

Funny

You get what you pay for, or rent for that matter...

"ball's 'skiddy' position" IT NEVER MOVES! That's why we tie yarn on the pitot tube! Keep the yarn centered and the turn is coordinated.

Hard to get this bird above 65 unless being towed! With full spoilers, I can cruise around at 40K..maybe even 38K!

If you live in the NYC area, or visit....I'll take ya up.
