Cross Country on your bike... Can YOU do it ? I am

I am...
on the BMW K1200S
Roomie will be in tow on the XX because of a sick VFR...
We head out on Monday... the stops will be:
Monday gonna hit Gallup NW
Tuesday sleeping in Okalohma City
Wed,tThurs,Fri is Gatlinburg, Tn.
Saturday and Sunday in Wilkes-Barre Pa.
Mon Night NYC
Tues night Pa again (suprising my Dad for Birthday)
Wed is Indiana
Thus night Kansas
Friday is Utah
Saturday.. Vegas baby...
Sunday puts us back in Cali.

We'll be doing Highway 70 on the way home.. if anyone is not too far off the 70 let me know...

Will post pics from the trip as we go...

I'd only attempt traversing the lower 48 if I had a month off from work.

(as you can probably tell, I like making a good thing last as long as possible )

We'll be going to the Buried Car, its a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere, leaving Portland Or June 8th for the Hell's Canyon Run and leaving from their too the Buried Car "unveling"..... You can read about it at the link (www.Buriedcar.com) having no plans along the way just going to enjoy the trip as we go..
Me on the ks and two friends on there Victory's......

I am afraid I can't - there are about 2000 km( out of total 11000) of unpaved road between Moscow and Vladivostok(Russian Far East) where my GT will not pass. :-))

The Buried Car is interesting. I had never heard about that. They sure didn't protect the car very well though, did they? Would have be so much cooler if they had secured it in a structure that would have preserved it.
