Ok, where to start....

Where in Oklahoma? There's some great riding to be had in Arkansas! Sounds like you might be close? Did a trip to Mountain Home Arkansas at the end of September & loved it.

As for Dallas, there's not really a season. It's a day-to-day thang. Pretty much any day it's reasonably dry, maybe a little sun, & somewhere between 45 and 100 degrees or so... Today it's sunny and close to 60. Met some fellow bikers (mostly Ducatistas) for brunch. Probably 20 bikes there!

Used to have Nortons myself. Had a completely original '73, 4,000 miles, in great shape, & also a '72 Combat that was a real thrasher :-) I miss them, but it sure is easier having everything shift on the left. Also no oil leaks, dependable wiring, electric start, fuel injected, etc....

Holler if you make it through Dallas!
