Torrey, UT To Bryce Canyon National Park

Howdy Gang,

I saw that area while on my first trip to Utah in 2003. It is every wonderful adjective you can muster - spectacular, breathtaking, incredible, unbelievable, awesome, mind-boggling, etc. You'll spend all day saying, "Holy $hit" (unless you're the, "Holy cow", type). You get the idea.

If you have a chance in your lifetime, do this area of the US. It will leave a lasting impression. I promise.

There's this road (UT 72) from Loa, UT (just west of Torrey) to I-70. On most maps and on the GPS, it shows as an unpaved road. I think they set it up that way to keep people off of it. Aside from a few nasty tar snakes just outside of Loa, this road is awesome. There is one section that has something like 10 well defined left right left right sweepers going up hill. It is a hoot to ride. If you are in the area, don't miss that one.

YES, but there's a state owned store a few miles out of town where you can get "near Beer".
We always bring up a few Single Malts to test out, while we're bench racing after dinner on Sat night.
