best rear shock and installer in LA or Phoenix area

REAR SHOCK NEEDED FOR K1300GT WHERE IN S CAL or PHOENIX AREA
I took my bike off the trailer today only to find the rear shock leaking. The front paralever had been tied down with the rear wheel locked in a angle holder so the back was held in place without any pressure pulling on the rear suspension. The bike has 48,000 miles. I am travelling to Los Angeles, before heading to the Phoenix area for the rest of November. A) what is the best rear shock to buy or place to have the original rebuilt? B) where is a good place to have the new shock replaced? Looking for a good unit replace by a competent person/ place.

I had a leaking ESA rear shock on my K1200GT. I had it repaired by Race Tech in Corona, CA. Corona is near LA.

http://www.racetech.com

The shock was off the bike, and Race Tech repaired the seal and filled it with new oil for less than $200. It was $165 or $185, something like that.

They are very busy, so I would call to explain your specific needs and make an appointment. 951.279.6655. I called, and they told me that they charge an additional $75 labor if the shock is on the bike. I do not know if they will do the work on a "while you wait" basis.

I am very pleased with the work they did on my rear shock. The shock feels like new. Other friends are equally pleased with Race Tech.
