Jessica

Occurred to me that there is something quite remarkable about Jessica's solo sail around the world. Its not that she is the youngest, not that she is female.

It is so ^%$#@!^ unusual for a boat to enter Australian waters with out 80 Afghans on board.

Does that idiot Prime Minister read the comments from the public in the media.

Thumbs down rudd

no I think he is off with the fairies. If Julia ever gets the chance she will have the knife out !
Seems strange that the Australian people cannot see the spin he uses, where is Garret when the Chinese plough up the Barrier reef (he is hidden from view) so that every forgets him!
The health thing he is on now is just to distract everyone! At least they are arguing amongs themselves ! Good stuff !
cheers Andrew

Great to see Brumby showing some Nads.
The cow that we have running the state here is using taxation like heroin. She is hooked and cant get enough.

Queensland used to be the lowest taxed state in Australia and now we are the highest.

She is turning every possible knob she can to find revenue to stop the state sinking further into the shit.

With all of the GST, all of the mining royalties, tourist income and an ever growing population of tax payers coming into the state, we are financially screwed by these F!*$ing socialists.

Road tolls have nearly doubled in 12 months. I think she has the entire states police force manning radars and she is selling off all of the states income producing infrastructure assets to pay off debt.

I drive a 6 cylinder car and my rego renewal came in this week at $810!

I always thought that rego was to help pay for roads and traffic infrastucture. They had the cheek of adding a $45 charge to my rego for, wait for it, Traffic Improvement Fee! WTF!!

Every new road has a toll on it! Joe would be turning in his grave.

Lefty or not, a little bit of Brumby wouldnt go astray up here but better yet, send us Jeff!

Sorry Jessica for the hijack of the thread.

QLD health

Hi Daddicool sad thing is as I remember back in 70/80's QLD had the best health care system in Australia !
I used to have the shi! put on me by all the QLD'sers I worked with.
Must admit Victoria is not perfect, our local hospital has a waiting time of 3+ hours for emergency unless you are urgent in which case the wheel you in.I think part of the problem is the dick heads that have a cold and go to emergency on Sunday?
My daughter is a doctor and she says the major problem in Melbourne is all the drunks and drug addicts.
Anyhow I still have my K1300GT(so far) but am getting tempted re the R1200GS !
If the K1300GT was crappy it would have gone by now !
cheers Andrew

great

So how about this girl. Wish she had have used hands on and ditched the Fleming to sail into the harbour. Wind vane is great for a passage but for beating up wind with 50000 impatient people waiting? Skipper could have done better on the helm. Did you see her in the cabin knocking back, first orange juice, then fresh cream from the bottle, then a chocolate Tim Tam, followed by water, ;then an orange. I was most disappointed when she did not spew over our PM, but she did handle him like a veteran. And as he said, he rang her on Australia day, but she reported on her blog the most important thing that happened on that day was she fixed the dunny.
