Going up a dirt track to my favourite winery for lunch, near Tawonga. Saw a large snake on the track in front of me, pulled the undercarriage up real fast and rode over it. Killed the snake. Often wondered if a bike would kill a snake. Have seen them leave the road when I have hit them with a car.

Black or tiger, dunno. Big browns are nasty, killed one of my calves and a dog. Was in a dry creek bed once. Backed up to the bank and pulled my pants down, squated, decided the view was better on the other side, took two steps and a brown snake fell off the top of the bank. Would have landed right across my shoulders. To hell with laxatives, best clean out ever.
