Shipping a R1100GS to the EU ( Belguim)

Moving to Belgium next spring and would love to bring the GS with me. I have been told that this could be a lot of work. So the question, any one out there have knowledge around the importing regulations in the EU. I plan to be in Europe 3-4 years.

Don't know where you're travelling from, but guess the states. It might be worth shipping your GS over here, but if you are really coming over for 3-4 years you might just as well sell the bike in the States and then buy another one once here. Might be cheaper, and a lot easier, than trying to ship it over.
