Mattew,
Go do the tour, I lived in Berlin back in '89-'90 when the wall came down. Alot has changed in Berlin since then, see as much as you can both old and new in Berlin. Berlin is one of my fav. cities a mix of new and old Blds.,history, people, music.

To me there will always be two Germany's - after 1990 - Germany and New Germany. That is another issue with me - talk to Germans from both sides - D and DDR and see what they tell ya. They love their sports, politics - so go with a open mind and listen, talk to people from other political parties is fun as well - Learn some German and learn of the different political parties before you go - and Please try not to be the "Griswalds" "The American's " and you will be fine.

Sich gut unterhalten - enjoy yourself
