Alps Trip Offer 2011!!

Helloooo,
I am looking to start offering bike tours next year as I do it all for my friends anyway, for free, and they've had comments from friends suggesting I do it as a sideline. I'm starting with Wales next year but am also looking to start an annual tour to the Alps and Black Forest in a couple of years time. Next summer I am trialing a ten day route taking in the Jura mountains in northern france, across into the Black Forest then down into the Swiss / French/ Italian Alps before heading back. I have done most of it before, just a few new sections to link it together. I'll take in some of the best Alpine passes and the infomous B500 through the Black forest which is superb! Some good places to stay, good meals in the evenings but not expensive.

Here's the offer. I am essentially looking at taking 3-5 'strangers' along to see what they think. You'd have to pay your way, sorry, but anyone interested wouldn't be paying a tour fee, ie for me. Two or three of my friends are coming but I'd like to get the numbers up. The tour will be focused on riding, not sightseeing although we stop here and there along the way if somewhere looks interesting for lunch, coffee etc. And to take in the views etc... I / we ride briskly but considerately to others. I hate powerrangers with little or no consideration for others so if that's you, sorry, but please don't respond, we'll only fall out.

My website 'blacktopmotorcycletours.com' should be live early January which will have some more info and pictures but in the mean time, if this sounds of interest then get in touch.

cheers,

Haydn

Do you have a source for renting a bike or is it BYOB?

it's BYOB. There are plenty of places you can rent a bike if you wanted to, then join us either in the UK or France/Germany.
