Hi Richard - I see we're not going to bother with the whole Politically Correct thing here ... My brother went to London in early August wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with 'Don't Shoot! I'm not Brazilian ...' Miraculously, he arrived home in one piece.
And Rennie - you mean there are countries outside Europe? Well, gee ... I don't remember learning anything about THAT in geography ... :-p
About the only UK-specific thing that bugs me is TRAFFIC. I know the 'Murricans think they have it bad, but up until recently I commuted fifty-five miles a day into and out of London. First forty miles up the M3 - about forty minutes on an average day. Next fifteen around the South/North Circular from Kew to Colindale - an HOUR on an average day. Thank god I wasn't in a box!
Anyone who says the 'S is no good in slow traffic needs to try that little exercise twice a day! I actually swapped my R850R for the 'S in that timeframe, and found it much easier to get through traffic on. The 850's protruding cylinders were a psychological hurdle when filtering through crammed-together cars.
