Erroneous "Brake-Pad Wear Indicator" Warnings

The purpose of this poll is to identify how many owners of the 2006+ K1200GT have had erroneous "Brake-Pad Wear Indicator" warnings on their motorbike. The "Brake-Pad Wear Indicator" warning light appears on the instrument panel directly beneath the blue "High-Beam" indicator light. The "Brake-Pad Wear Indicator" light can be identified as a red warning icon which appears as a circle with six small "dash" marks around its circumference.

PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE.

'07 GT, warning light on ~9,200 miles (just after front tire change). Pinched wire at zip tie. New pads installed under warranty and light reset at 12K service.
