k1200s peg lowering kit / experience of fitting?

Hi I have been looking into this and found this kit:

http://www.sportouring.com/part.php?...l=K%201200%20S

If i understand the fitting process correctly, the existing peg mounts are removed and a new plate is attached in their place and then the peg mount is affixed to the new plate.

Looking at the bike it appears that the brake master cylinder which is attached to the peg mount will effectively also be dropped but it *appears* that the one of the pipes connected to it is rigid and so I am concerned there may not therefore be any slack to allow it to be lowered?

Does this make sense and if so, how does the kit get mounted?

thanks for any help

Hmmm.. just read the page again and think I may have completely misunderstood how these are fitted

Be grateful for any comments from those who have fitted them.

cheers

I just fitted a used kit to my bike last weekend. You simply remove the pin from the pivot point of your existing peg and in its place put in the lowering kit. Next you put your peg into the new lower mounting position provided by the kit, and insert the new pin and clip that comes with the kit. Now your done. takes 20 minutes the first time to understand the drawings and German translation to english...

The Evo kit...

... is the one to get. Easy install, looks stock, and does NOT kick the pegs out an extra inch or so like the kit pictured.
