New K1200S owner here!

Just picked up an 07 K1200S last week. I plan on setting it up for touring.
Here she is

And with her stable mate.

Huh?

Just out of pure curiosity why both a 'Busa AND a K12 in the stable?? I mean, really, what is it one bike does that the other one doesn't? I have some theories but I'd sure like to hear yours.

Regards,
Randy

It's seems like it will be more comfortable for both the wife and myself, especially when riding two up (I hope). The seating position is more upright with a more relaxed peg position and it just seems better suited for touring with shaft drive, ESA, ABS etc. The fact that factory panniers, rear rack (K1300S) are available is also a bonus as the Busa just doesn't look right to me set up for touring. I may very well decide to sell the Busa this summer as my riding style seems better suited to the K1200S, but with the additional 6 inches of snow we received today I'm a ways off from making that decision.
