I am guessing that it will based on the fact the K1300S and K1200S have the same frame which the motor hangs from

Does k1300s eengine fit in k1200s frame

Thanks for the answer, does anyone know whether I would need to change anything else to be able to use k1300s engine in k1200s frame, electrics or throttle bodies?

I have used the two web sites below to look for parts from the K1200, K1300 GT, S, R
and R sport to use on my 07K1200GT

Duolever parts are all the same except for color
Final Drives, some differences in ratios, drain plug
R wheels and GT wheels are the same, except color (I looked at bearings and spacers and axle which are the same) S wheels are different style but would fit. My second set of wheels are dark gray from an R, original GT are silver

I find opening two or 3 windows of the web site to toggle back and forth between GT, S and R lots of common parts, I think any K1300 engine (GT, R, S) will fit (there are some tuning differences in the ECU and cams)
There are two ECUs but they are the same for all, with different engine operating programs. Later ECU has traction control ASC, TPM
