K1200S indicator/turn signal problems

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and fairly new to the K1200S. I've had it about 6 months and ridden it a fair bit. All was going well until I rode through 2hrs of heavy rain. Towards the end of the 3 hours the bikes electrics threw a wobbler showing a problem with the battery and low fuel (mileage estimate dropped from 146miles to 0 miles in a real 2 miles).

When I went to take it to the local dealer it seemed to have dried off and pulled itself together. Next day all seemed well on the ride home but after stopping for fuel the front and rear left hand side inidcators (turn signals) were on permanently. Not permanently blinking but always on. As was the small side light. They wouldn't switch off even when the bike was turned off and the key was out the bike.

I removed the bulbs from the ones that wouldn't turn off so it wouldn't drain the battery. Later that weekend the side light had corrected itself and is now off when it should be. The indicators or turn signals are still on. There are no warning lights on the dash. I'll be back with the bike at the end of the week and will try the bulbs again to see if drying off has helped any.

The bike is completely stock and was last serviced by a BMW dealer in Nov 14.

I don't suppose anyone has any experience of a similar problem?

Re: K1200S indicator/turn signal electrical problem

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought I'd searched all the forums but have now found this thread on another site which sounds like the same problem I'm having:

http://www.i-bmw.com/showthread.php?t=46070

It may be that my ZFE needs a reboot or a new one!
