Unhappy Help Needed

Hi,
The horn on my K12S just went off, I can't stop it without disconnecting the battery, its not the alarm as this still worked, and the bike started ok.

Any help gratefully received.

Sounds like the button may be stuck.

Unhappy Help Needed

Hi,
No bit worse than that, the dealer reckons water has got into the main electrical management system, it was a bit wet on Sunday! So I am in the process of getting it recovered, great a 11k bike that does not like rain!!! I have been advised not to ride it, also the fuel guage has gone haywire.

But BMW recovery seem to be good so far, I will keep you posted as to the outcome.

I've been caught in the rain at least 6 times and never had any issues...

truly,

I would never had bought the bike if I thought it would have issues with the wet.

I did have the Stebel installed with the flute pointing forward and now it burbles instead of HONKING...

They're supposed to be installed pointing at an angle DOWN, for just this reason.

Bob.

Smile Update

Hi,

Now the bike has been in the dealers for a day, guess what, nothing wrong with the bike, the horn is now fine and the fuel guage works fine.

But at least I get it back in time for the weekend!!

Well, I spent a good 20 minutes (I'm anal) positioning the Stebel horn,
and my conclusion was that the spades on the horn would be against the frame
if pointing the opening of the horn down. I may have another go at it, since
it appears Kaos has had water issues. Possible, I may be able to point it in the opposite direction.
