Raising ride height K1200s

I now that this is late in the game but...

Does anyone know of where I can find suspension linkage plates(dogbones) to raise my tail up a bit.

I seem to only be finding lowering plates.

I would appreciate any help I could get,

Thanks,

Grey

I've never seen a set of plates to raise the back either. If you just want to sit a little higher, Are you aware that there are two different seats for the S Bike (higher and lower)? If the seat has one indented line running along both forward sides, it's the lower version. If you see two indentations (one above the other) on the sides it's the higher version. So if yours is showing just one line, you know there is a higher available seat.

Go check it out on the Parts Fiche at any franchise dealer website for part #s. I see both seats on eBay quite often.

And remember; R seats are completely different then S seats and GTs as well. None of them are an interchangeable fit.

Thank you. Just received a set from Sandbar.

I very much appreciate the help, though.

I just punched into google k1200s 37mm links and found it straight away.
Schwabenmax.
Raised the seat height about 1 1/2" - 32mm ish.
Much better riding twisties and safe at the bikes top speed.

Except when you/I've managed to stop on the crest of a driveway apron. Then it sucks. Hard

word: Bags of Aldi vegetables, frozen of course, work wonders. Put 'em on the floor, they'll wash off.
