Ear speaker for X50 radar

I've been using an ear plug for my radar, but the plug bothers my ear. Anyone know where I can get a SINGLE ear speaker to velcro into my helmet which uses a plug that will fit the X50 jack? The ones I've seen are pairs and the X50 jack only supports one ear plug/speaker.

Thanks.

Have you considered the HARD system instead of a speaker? I think it is an incredible little device.

It's not the speed that kills, it's the rate at which the speed diminishes...

Yes, it's an LED that you can position wherever you want. I have mine off to the left side where it does not obstruct my vision, but I can easliy see it with my peripheral vision when it activates.

I've heard mixed reviews on the HARD system.

I'm just used to an audible alert.

The only drawback I can see is if you ride at night, it can be a little obnoxious because it's so bright. I rarely ride at night, so it isn't an issue for me. It works flawlessly, and I really appreciate the fact that it's wireless.

For visual, you might give Marc Parnes a look. He has an LED block that can be mounted near your line of sight. I use one on my S with an Escort and it always gets my attention unless in the direct sunlight. I also have Charlies old MRA tinted shield which helps the contrast.

Doug, how do you wire the Marc Parnes unit, and how do you turn it on & off? Also, as stated, I rarely ride at night, but is it overwhelming at night?

Audio Cord

Before I moved to the HARD system, I had a single ear piece that I found in Radio Shack.
HARD is much better than the wired audio cord.
