Race Can Re-map needed?

Hi all,

I have just installed a Delkavic carbon oval end can on my 2007 K1200 R Sport, this sounds fantastic however given the complexities of BMW's fueling and injection system is there a need to have the bike re-mapped?

all suggestions welcome

many thanks

You can remap it if you want to.
A fancy can will make it sound better and change the engine response a little, but doesn't need remapping.
The exhaust manufacturer will tell you if fitting the exhaust requires you to remap the engine control.
