Idle control valve

Please help.
My K1200s is running like a bag of spanners. The idle control valve is jammed and needs to be replaced.
I bought a replacement off eBay. It got the bike back on the road but still not right so I need to get a new one.

Here's the problem. Dealers don't seem sure as to what needs to be done. The current valve does not fit a K1200s air box. Some think there is a kit that contains a collar that fits the existing airbox. Others think the whole airbox needs to be replaced.

Anyone had to do this before? I'd like to think BMW would have created a simple solution for the new valve as the old one was a regular issue I'm told.

You don’t say what year the bike is if it’s pre 07 there was a complete air box/valve replacement.

Go to a BMW dealer with the vin and see if the complete air box/valve replacement recall was done. My friend bought a 06 K1200s in march and the recall wasn't done and they did it for free.
